Wirkungsbooster Insights Session 8: Wie können Daten aus Studien und Forschung die eigene Wirkungsanalyse ergänzen?

You want and must prove the impact of your project for your clients and funders, but it seems like an insurmountable mountain to collect all the data yourself. You might not have to, because impact data on specific topics can often be found in external sources. Whoever is smart merges the data! Our topic today will therefore be: How can data from studies and research supplement your own impact analysis?

In this practical workshop, I will take you through my impact analysis at soulbottles: from checking your own impact hypothesis and Theory of Change with the help of self-collected data and publicly available statistics to developing impact KPIs for internal and external communication.

The focus will be on the question: How does data become a reliable impact calculation? I will show how I worked with a tool for impact calculation and how publicly available impact data can be combined with self-collected data. The basis was, among other things, an impact survey among 800 soulbottles users, the results of which were merged with existing external data.

A concrete look at a real impact analysis process – including tools, data sources, methodological decisions, learnings, and stumbling blocks.
